Danish Pension in New Zealand

New Zealand and Denmark have a social security areement. The agreement allows persons eligible for Old Age Pension, Anticipatory Pension and/or Labour-market supplementary pension from Denmark to receive their pension in New Zealand.

In order to find out whether or not you are eligible for a Danish pension, please take contact to New Zealand Senior Services.

New Zealand Senior Services will provide you with an application form, which you need to complete and return to them.  The returned application will then be forwarded by New Zealand Senior Services to the Danish authorities that administers Denmark’s social security scheme (Udbetaling Danmark). It is Udbetaling Danmark that decides if you are eligible to receive a Danish pension and they will contact you directly with their decision.
