Trade Council

Trade Council is a unit within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that is responsible for facilitating trade relations between Denmark and the Oceania region. The Trade Council comprises all governmental activities designed to promote Danish export and foreign investment in Denmark under one roof. The Trade Council offers a wide range of services to promote Danish export and to assist establishment in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

The Trade Council assists Danish companies navigate the Oceania business landscape by providing essential tools, resources and advice. We are committed to providing value to our clients through an extensive range of tailored services which include establishing a subsidiary, building alliances, recruitment, representative services ('Boots on the Ground'), partner searches, and virtual incubator programs. These strategic services enable Danish companies to establish Australian/New Zealand presence with ease.
 
Our team of trade specialists are versed within the fields of Food & Agriculture, Green Build & Urban Development, Health & Life Science, IT/Digital, Renewable Energy, Sustainable Mining and Water & Environment. The Trade Council seeks to provide clients with public diplomacy, commercial knowledge, appropriate resources and relevant contacts in order to support entry into the Oceania market.
