Danish Police Record

Danish nationals and foreign nationals who wish to obtain a copy of their Danish criminal record may contact the Central Crime Register (“Kriminalregisteret”) of the Danish National Police (“Rigspolitiet”) at the following address:

The Danish National Police will need a copy of the applicant’s passport (data page that includes photo and signature) or other identification (driver's licence or birth certificate), and information on which address the certificate is to be forwarded to. The criminal record certificate is free of charge.

The criminal record can be issued in English provided that it is clean. Please state if the certificate is to be issued in English. 


Please note that it is not possible to request a Danish police record via email due to the Danish data protection laws. 


Please be aware that it is not possible to get a police record on the basis of a telephone call.
