Service Type Establishing a subsidiary

BMS Heavy Cranes established our Australian subsidiary in 2018, with the main goal of supporting our global customers within the renewable energy sector. When the decision was made to enter Australia, BMS Heavy Cranes established contact with the Royal Danish Consulate/Trade Council in Sydney (Rikke Scheel Gamborg). From day one we had excellent support in setting up our business in Australia, with everything from establishing the legal entity, recommendation on advisory services, immigration support and not least local “tips” for what is important when doing business in Australia.

Additionally, the Royal Danish Consulate/Trade Council in Sydney has been a great platform for networking with other Danish businesses in Australia. In general we have always found the Royal Danish Consulate/Trade Council in Sydney very helpful if we have had any queries or questions. This is really worth a lot when you are setting up a business on the other side of the planet. The Royal Danish Consulate/Trade Council in Sydney has definitely been a great support to BMS Heavy Cranes in setting up our Australian subsidiary”

“The TC in Australia has been very efficient in facilitating our entry into the Australian market, connecting us with relevant potential partners and leads. We are very satisfied by their work, especially due to the higher degree of technical understanding required for marketing our wastewater treatment solutions. I would highly recommend the services of the TC to any business who intends to expand into Australia.”

“The physical distance as well as the time difference mean that it would be extremely difficult for a small start-up company to make contact with customers in either Australia or New Zealand in a normal situation, it would be near impossible. Working with the Trade Council, enabled us to quickly identify the right people, in the right councils and in so doing it enabled us to open up two new markets on the other side of the world without having to leave our office.”
