The Danish Consulate General in Sydney issues Schengen visas for Iceland from applicants in Australia (except Canberra) and New Zealand.
Iceland has a representation agreement with Denmark in Australia (except Canberra - see below) and New Zealand concerning Schengen visas. Therefore the Danish Consulate General in Sydney issues Schengen visas and D-visas for Iceland from applicants in these two countries.
The application procedure for Schengen visas for Iceland is the same as for Denmark. The applicant should therefore follow the instructions on the page Schengen Visa for Denmark and just replace all mention of Denmark with Iceland. Applications for Schengen visas for Iceland should also be lodged at the premises of VFS Global.
When filling out the application form in Visa Self Service (VSS) it must clearly show that Iceland is the destination.
In Canberra Iceland has a representation agreement with Norway, so all applicants in Canberra must submit their application with the Royal Norwegian Embassy.
